Packaging can be an excellent way to get closer to nature and understand our connection with it. If you want to know more about each project, be sure to click on the red title. Cuddle Pack, by Miren Campaña Egaña (@miren_camara) The key is in the name: cuddle. This package represents a way to embrace nature as we transport plants, explains its creator. The Cuddle Pack design is exclusive to retailing. It reduces the pollution, and subsequent carbon footprint, generated by transporting plants. ‘Birdhouse’ is another piece from this creator, whose design follows the same philosophy, which can be found on her Domestika profile.

    Discover these incredible projects from the Domestika community that honor the HBO series On April 17, 2021, Game of Thrones celebrates 10 years of its debut on HBO. One of the most successful fantastic sagas in the history of TV, the series proved that plots with characters and complex conflicts can attract the attention of millions of people. Thus, it influenced several creative areas, from audiovisual to literature. Characters like Daenerys Targaryen, Jon Snow, Arya Stark and Tyrion Lannister have become icons of pop culture and have inspired the work of countless artists, illustrators and designers to this day. To celebrate the 10 years of the series, we selected 10 projects created by the Domestika community that pay homage to the universe created by George R. R. Martin.     Domestika Scholarships 2021: Deadline Extended to April 25th!

    We’ve extended the deadline for entries to take part in Domestika Scholarships to April 25th The third edition of Domestika Scholarships sets out to promote learning across a range of creative disciplines by offering participants the chance to win one of 10 scholarships. Each scholarship consists of 50 courses of the winner’s choosing. Anyone over 16 years old can take part: it doesn’t matter where you live or what your educational or professional background is. To those of you who have already submitted your portfolios, thank you very much for taking part and making our community continue to grow with talent. We have extended the deadline for entries to take part to April 25th. Therefore, if you want, you can take advantage of the extra time to continue developing your portfolio and how you present your projects for the jury’s consideration.     Domestika Projects: Junction - Graphic Novel

    Nathan Jurevicius talks about the creative process behind one of his latest projects: Junction My name is Nathan Jurevicius and I'm a multidisciplinary artist working in the field of illustration, fine art, animation, games and publishing. It can be hard to limit what I do to one thing but currently I'm focusing on concept art for tv and film. I began my early career as an editorial illustrator for a number of magazines around the world and then shifted direction to interactive storytelling during the early 2000's. It was around this time I was approached by a company based in Hong Kong to develop toys. The first series that came out was based on my Scarygirl designs and from here I started creating comics and games around the brand.

Comics series Boyfriend of the Dead, by Ushio This comic follows a young, independent woman fighting for survival during a zombie apocalypse and her story of unexpected love. She faces the challenges of modern love with her boyfriend–a zombie. The first issue was published in 2017, and since then, there have been 247 more.
