Domestika Scholarships Are Back! Turn Your Creative Passion Into Your Future
Unlock your creative potential! Win one of 10 Domestika Scholarships and enjoy 50 free courses
Domestika is committed to learning. There are no limits regarding age or experience, time zone, or geographical location to be part of the Domestika community. Some of the best creative professionals showcase their best work on Domestika, and the courses are open to everyone.
The world of creativity is based on sharing knowledge, and this concept inspired us to kick start the third edition of Domestika Scholarships.
20 members of the Domestika community have already won 50 courses after taking part in the first two editions of Becas Domestika in 2017 and 2018. The competitions attracted thousands of creatives worldwide across a range of disciplines: illustration, design, photography, animation, 3D design, etc.
Read on to find out all you need to know about this year’s #DomestikaScholarships.
What are Domestika Scholarships all about?
Domestika Scholarships aim to promote creative learning. As a result, we’ll be handing out 10 scholarships to 10 lucky winners, consisting of a 50-course bundle of their choice. Anybody over the age of 16, from anywhere in the world, whatever their level of education or professional direction, can take part.

How do you apply for a scholarship?
To participate in the competition, you simply need to be registered on Domestika, have completed your profile (include a profile picture and tell us a bit about yourself), and have published at least three projects.
Tip: In order for your profile and projects to stand out in front of the judges, make sure you select the work you’re most proud of and include images of both the final piece and the creative process.
Where do you upload your projects?
In your profile area, select the Portfolio tab, and click on “Add new project.” Write the project title and upload up to 15 images per project (maximum size is 10MB each). Once you have at least three projects on your profile, you fulfill the criteria for entering.
Only the first three projects appearing in your portfolio will be taken into consideration. If you have more than three, sort them by dragging them into the right order. Access the Domestika Scholarships 2021 landing page using the same email you log into Domestika and click on Enter, and you’re in!

Who will choose the winners?
Fifteen noted professionals from the creative sector, all Domestika teachers, will be in charge of selecting the winners.
This is the list of judges: photographer Paloma Rincón (@paloma_rincon), logo designer Sagi Haviv (@sagi), illustrator and printmaker Catalina Estrada (@catalinaestrada), designer, photographer, and visual artist Pepe Gimeno (@pepegimeno), painter and illustrator Ana Victoria Calderón (@anavictoriana), industrial designer and founder of Estudi Arola Antoni Arola (@toniarola), artist and embroiderer Trini Guzmán (@holaleon), 2D animator and graphic designer Alexis Moyano (@alexismoyano), sketching illustrator Mattias Adolfsson (@mattiasadolfsson), illustrator Zeferino (@imzeferino), Facebook and Instagram creative director Ji Lee (@jilee), visual artist Fito Espinosa (@fitoespinosa), lettering artist James Lewis (@jamesllewis), TV director, screenwriter, actor, and journalist Marcelo Tas (@marcelo_tas), and finally, illustrator and typographer Alex Trochut (@trochut).
What is the deadline to enter?
You have until April 12th, 2021, to submit your portfolio for the Third Edition of Domestika Scholarships.

Do the profiles have to be 100% complete to qualify? Specifically, is syncing contacts a must to enter the competition, as that is part of the profile completion process?
