    Domestika Accessibility Statement

    1. Commitment to accessibility

    At Domestika, we are committed to providing an accessible and inclusive digital experience for everyone, regardless of their abilities or the assistive technology they use.

    We work continuously to ensure that our website (www.domestika.org), its subdomains, and our mobile applications are perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust, in accordance with international accessibility standards.

    Accessibility is a principle embedded in the design, development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our digital products and services.

    2. Applicable regulations and standards

    Domestika develops and maintains its digital services with reference to the following international standards and frameworks:

    • The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
    • The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
    • The European standard EN 301 549 on accessibility requirements for ICT products and services.
    • Directive (EU) 2019/882 on the accessibility requirements for products and services (European Accessibility Act).

    In addition, for users in the United States, Domestika strives to ensure that its services are compatible with the accessibility principles set out in Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and, where applicable, with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.

    3. Accessibility status

    Domestika's digital platforms are currently in a state of partial conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA and are progressively working toward conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

    Partial conformance means that certain pages or features may not yet meet all applicable accessibility criteria.

    We maintain an ongoing improvement program that prioritizes the identification, assessment, and remediation of accessibility barriers.

    4. Content that may not be fully accessible

    Despite our efforts, some content may present accessibility limitations, including:

    • certain videos that do not yet include full captions or audio description;
    • some downloadable PDF documents that require improvements to be fully compatible with assistive technologies;
    • certain legacy or historical content published prior to the implementation of current standards;
    • content generated by users or third parties that may not fully meet accessibility requirements.

    When a document is not available in an accessible format, we will make reasonable efforts to provide an accessible alternative upon the user's request.

    5. Measures adopted

    Domestika has implemented, among others, the following measures:

    • integration of accessibility requirements from the design and development stages;
