Among the most valued projects during the first month of 2021, some of the highlights are the spectacular final project of a student of the wood carving course, the title credits of a HBO series, a fantastic photographic portrait and an expressive eye painted in watercolor.

PATRIA Title Credits, by Fernando Domínguez Cózar (@fernandodominguezcozar)
It is the project of the creative director, designer of credits and musician based in Valencia, Fernando Domínguez Cózar, who carried out this work for the renowned HBO series. Fernando teaches the Credit Titles Animated with 3D Cameras and After Effects course.
Art Anatomy: The Eye, by Michele Bajona (@michelebajona)
Michele Bajona is an artist specialized in watercolors. In this work he decomposed the portrait of an eye. To do this, he explains, he first focused on the technical of anatomy and then forgot everything else to concentrate on the lights and shadows of the object.
Ave Diamante Mandarin, by Maria Dolores Aguilar (@ma_dolores_aguilar)
The author of this project is a graphic designer with a passion for pop-up books and watercolor painting. Here she shows us how she made a postage stamp combining the two techniques to recreate the magic that she is so attracted to.

Plácida is a graphic design studio specialized in visual identity, packaging and editorial design. At Domestika, its creative director teaches the Stationery Creation for Branding Projects course. This stationery and packaging project is the final result of a work carried out for the Derprosa brand.
Time goes by, by Iris Encina (@iris_encina)
This portrait, by Madrid-based photographer Iris Encina, shows, among other things, the possibilities offered by digital post-production of portraits. In fact, that's what her course is all about: Adobe Photoshop for Retouching Portraits.
The Little Red Riding Hood, by Karishma Chugani (@karishma_chugani)
Karishma is passionate about storytelling and she has many means to do so. She is an artist, designer, writer, and illustrator. At Domestika, she teaches the Paper Cutting Techniques for Storytelling course, in which she explains how to make a drama book using paper and scissors.
Origami Cover - BMP, by Kristina Wißling (@kristinawissling)
Kristina Wißling is an origami expert who has worked with origami engineering techniques for over a decade. This project is part of a commission from the company BPW Bergische Achsen Kommanditgesellschaft. It is created entirely on paper using computer-controlled scoring techniques and hand-assembled to scale.
Wine label. Flipas Garnacha, by Óscar Lloréns (@ollorens)
The Domestika illustrator and teacher shares this project with us: the illustration with an eighties aesthetic for a wine that is ideal for ex-punks, rockers, heavys or mods. Lloréns has extensive experience as an illustrator at The Washington Post or Vanity Fair and is the creator of four courses, including Express Illustration with Illustrator and Photoshop.
The Oak Papers, by Diana Beltran Herrera (@dianabeltranherrera)
Canongate UK, an independent publisher in Edinburgh, Scotland, contacted Diana to prepare the cover for The Oak Papers book by Dr. James Canton. The theme: a tribute to oak trees and the important role they play in the landscape and our daily life. My project in Wooden Spoon Carving course, by Oleg Pokusaev (@ oleg_7)
It is a final project by a student of the Wooden Spoon Carving course, taught by the carpenter and craftswoman Andrea Cortés.
