Design Thinking: Find Innovative Solutions
“We have reached the end of our design thinking course! I hope that all the preparation and demonstration of how to prepare and put into practice a co-creation workshop was useful to you! Before finishing, I would like to leave you five lessons on co-creation for you to make your final project: • Always have people at the center. Understand and treat people humanely, not as mere consumers. Empathize with their needs, this is the best starting point for real innovation. • Connect people and their individual experiences. A diverse room, with different profiles, generates more diverse and original scenarios and solutions. • Total focus on the problem! A well-designed challenge and well-formulated hypotheses are a guarantee of success in a co-creation session. • Storytelling! The absence of a good story to engage people and engage them in the work makes the workshop tiring and uninteresting. Make the most of the material, bring videos, music and playful narratives to the activities. • Building trust is key! Co-creation work involves engagement, but it also needs to be generous and show the vulnerability of ideas and exposure to mistakes. Without trust, the work of co-creation does not evolve. Organize your meeting and share the results using the "Create your project" link available in this unit. You can share images of the forms available in each completed unit, so that I can see the development of your project, as well as the final report and the prototyping. I'm curious to see how you fared and whether you achieved the solutions you would like to find. I will comment on the steps and results of your workshop whenever possible! Until later!”
