About the final project for: Introduction to Modernist Logo Design

Introduction to Logo Design

“Congratulations! You have reached the end of this Domestika course. It has been a genuine joy sharing my knowledge and experience with you. Thank you so much. I sincerely hope you have enjoyed the course. Now I'd like to remind you of some of the most important steps we took during the course that you should remember when doing your course project:
The Brief Define the parameters of the brief. Think about the purpose. Then, generate words from a client's brief, and identify metaphors and associations. Next, look for graphic forms in their products or industry.

Sketching It's time to let your creativity flow and start sketching. Be loose, try to get many ideas down on the page, and enjoy it. Iterate over a few of the ideas and think about use cases. · Will it scale down and up? · Is it creative and distinct? · Can you identify your references and describe them?
Move On to the Computer Bring your best ideas to the computer. Use black to focus on form. Is everything clearly defined? Blur it, scale it, and print it small and large to see if it is legible.
And that's all! Thank you so much for taking part. I can't wait to see your logos! You can share your project with all of us by clicking on 'Create your project.' Remember to share both the final result and the steps that have led you to it. It would be great if you showed a picture of each step and added a brief explanation about what you have done in each one. If you have any questions, be sure to ask them! I will reply as soon as I can, but in the meantime, I encourage you to interact with each other. Communication fuels creativity. So, don't be afraid to reach out and collaborate with others. But most of all, have fun! See you in the forum! ”

“ Final Project Thank you for taking the course. I hope you found it interesting and that there was something that you can use in your design process. Now it's time for your final project. You can follow my brief and reimagine the Dessau Modular logo. You could find your own client and employ the design process you've followed through or you could reimagine a current company and see how you can improve their logo. When you work on your project, try to think about all the potential use cases the logo might be used within and try to use that as a set of guide rails in which to design towards....”
