“Grouting Your Mosaic In this lesson we are ready to start grouting our mosaic. I've given the mosaic a quick clean earlier on with a sponge and water, just to make sure there's no glue on the surface or any leftover bits of paper. I've got my mask and gloves, my rubber grout float, a bucket to mix the grout, a mixing trowel, a sponge for cleaning off the grout, and my powdered grout. Again, I recommend you don't use ready-mixed grouts because they tend to contain too much water. So powdered grout is much better. I'm going to use a dark grey grout. After studying at the three top art schools in London (Camberwell, St Martins, and Hornsey), he went on to create large scale painted murals. After being asked by a client to create a mosaic in 1990, it unknowingly changed the course of his career.

Since then, he has completed many large scale mosaic commissions around the world. His work has received recognition from organizations like The National Terrazzo & Mosaic Association of America, The Society of American Mosaic Artists, The Prix Picassiette in Chartres, France, and The Worshipful Company of Tylers and Bricklayers in the UK.
