“Building Your Mosaic So let's look at the finished mosaic and how I've dealt with the various areas and some things we need to watch out for, as you can see I've carried on splitting the lines off from the fish but when it comes to the shadow, I've continued the lines like imagine that the colour isn't important, the shapes and the courses of tile still flow straight through uninterrupted and it's just the colour that changes. After studying at the three top art schools in London (Camberwell, St Martins, and Hornsey), he went on to create large scale painted murals. After being asked by a client to create a mosaic in 1990, it unknowingly changed the course of his career.
Since then, he has completed many large scale mosaic commissions around the world. His work has received recognition from organizations like The National Terrazzo & Mosaic Association of America, The Society of American Mosaic Artists, The Prix Picassiette in Chartres, France, and The Worshipful Company of Tylers and Bricklayers in the UK.
