What the advantages and disadvantages of each technique, so that we can compare them to the one we're going to be using and why that's the best technique for our project. The first technique, the most basic technique of mosaic making, is working direct into a cement bed. And that's the way the Romans would have worked mostly. After studying at the three top art schools in London (Camberwell, St Martins, and Hornsey), he went on to create large scale painted murals. After being asked by a client to create a mosaic in 1990, it unknowingly changed the course of his career.
Since then, he has completed many large scale mosaic commissions around the world. His work has received recognition from organizations like The National Terrazzo & Mosaic Association of America, The Society of American Mosaic Artists, The Prix Picassiette in Chartres, France, and The Worshipful Company of Tylers and Bricklayers in the UK.
