“Creating the Full Scale Cartoon In this lesson we're going to make our full scale cartoon for the mosaic. This is the actual paper we're going to stick the mosaic on, but to do that we need to get a reversed image of the mosaic, so this is what we're gonna do. We're starting off with our piece of pure kraft paper. And my first task is to draw the grid that we put on our design, which is a 20 centimetre grid. After studying at the three top art schools in London (Camberwell, St Martins, and Hornsey), he went on to create large scale painted murals. After being asked by a client to create a mosaic in 1990, it unknowingly changed the course of his career.

His work has received recognition from organizations like The National Terrazzo & Mosaic Association of America, The Society of American Mosaic Artists, The Prix Picassiette in Chartres, France, and The Worshipful Company of Tylers and Bricklayers in the UK.
