“Dividing the Mosaic In this lesson we're going to divide our mosaic into sections. The reason we're doing that is to make the pieces more manageable when we come to fixing it, but it's one of the great points of working on paper, that we can divide, we can make our mosaic in a different site to where it's gonna end up and then easily transport it, or make it in sections and all that kind of thing. So the first job is to remove our excess paper from around the edge, so I'm just gonna get a scalpel and simply cut... all the way around. After studying at the three top art schools in London (Camberwell, St Martins, and Hornsey), he went on to create large scale painted murals. After being asked by a client to create a mosaic in 1990, it unknowingly changed the course of his career.

His work has received recognition from organizations like The National Terrazzo & Mosaic Association of America, The Society of American Mosaic Artists, The Prix Picassiette in Chartres, France, and The Worshipful Company of Tylers and Bricklayers in the UK.
