“Preparing to Fix Your Mosaic and Mixing Cements Now we're going to mix our cement. If you don't wear glasses, you probably need to wear a pair of goggles. I've already got a barrier cream on on my hands right up to my elbows, and I'm going to wear some latex gloves, and also a mask because of the dust hazard. Ok, ready to go. And the first thing I'm going to do is tint my cement to a darker colour. Because our tile was just so thin, the cement adhesive comes up quite high and we don't want that to show through our grout.
