About the final project for: VR Animation with Quill
VR Animation with Quill
“Dear students, we have reached the end of the course! It has been an incredible experience to have accompanied you throughout all these lessons and to share my knowledge and work processes. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did, that you learned, appreciated how powerful it is to work in animation from virtual reality and how we can completely revolutionize our projects. Hopefully the tools we learned will be useful, both for those who are already professionals and those who are just starting out in animation. I want this course to motivate and inspire you to pour out all your creativity, let it surface, do not be overwhelmed with the technical aspects. Software like Quill allows us to concentrate and focus on the artistic. From now on, I invite you to participate in the forum and tell us all your concerns and your projects. We are in an era where sharing our work is part of the process. Do not be shy, do not compare your work because that can stop you, take advantage of the talent of others to nurture and inspire you, practice a lot and focus on what you can do and you want to tell. I see animation as an artistic medium to communicate, tell and express oneself and I am convinced that these tools and technologies serve as a springboard to a creative process without limits. See you on the forum! ”

“Final project We reached the end of the course. Thank you for joining me throughout these lessons. We will review the things we learned. First I introduced myself and told them who I am. We started working on our project, we look for references to guide us on what to do, we made a storyboard and learned how to do it inside Quill unlike the conventional way we usually work. From there, we learned to create cameras in a very simple way to make a kind of animatic or preview of our history. Once the pre-production of the short was ready, Let's go on to see what...”

Federico Moreno Breser
A course by Federico Moreno Breser
Federico Moreno is passionate about the freedom that animation gives him to bring his imagination to life and give shape to a story, compared to other audiovisual fields. With over twenty years of professional experience, he admits today that most of what he has learned was self-taught, after endless hours of practice, tutorials, and videos.
He has directed Mcfly Studio since 2005, a studio specialized in animation and audiovisual production, where his two sides of expertise meet: the artist and producer. In 2012, he founded the animation magazine Moushon!, a project that he led for two years, and Luty Art Studio alongside Nelson Luty, an art department dedicated to conceptual art for the film industry, animation, and video games.
