Matthias Berghoff and Anastasios Koupantsis worked together until 2021 in the Düsseldorf-based design agency Betty + Betty, founded by Anastasios. At the crossroads of strategy and design, they used identity as the basis for contemporary communication and systematic brand management. Betty + Betty's projects have been awarded by the German Brand and Design Awards, the European Design Award, and the Art Directors Club, Germany, among others. They have also been featured in national and international media.

Matthias advises managers on how to implement identity as part of a leadership and management process. He studied economics as well as industrial and organizational psychology and accompanies people as a consultant and coach, reflecting on existing processes and discovering new ones. As an interdisciplinary designer, Anastasios explores new ways to make the different facets of identity visually tangible. He studied communication design at the University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf. His research on corporate design, typography, and editorial design led him to interdisciplinary projects that combine analog, digital, and spatial communication.
