Modeling cartoon
“We have reached the end of the course, congratulations! In this last video we are going to review everything we have done during the basic modeling course for cartoon elements. I hope these lessons have been of great help and you can put into practice all that you have learned. It has been a pleasure for me to pass on my knowledge, it is time for you to get down to work, to model! During the course we have learned from the basic fundamentals of 3D modeling to the realization of a final render with creative intention for your portfolio. Let's do a little review of what we saw along the way: We first saw the importance of basic rules for modeling cartoon . Later we learned the importance of reference images and how they help us throughout the creation process, both to define the style and to guide the components that make up an asset . Here I show you a set of modeling tools and techniques while we make our models in high poly . I also showed you how to leave the assets ready for textures. Although we saw tools and tricks to speed up our technique, remember that the key is to work hard and spend hours and hours to improve. Finally, we did a bit of render with Arnold to make our prop have a look professional and portfolio ready. Now I invite you to model your own 3D still life. Decide on a new theme, such as the kitchen, living room, park, etc. Apply the fundamentals cartoon learned and carry out your new project, without fear! See you in the forum with the final results of your project. There I will give you feedback end of your work and we can share opinions with other colleagues, the more feedback better! Do not forget to ask if you have any questions, I will try to answer as soon as possible. I hope you have learned and enjoyed the course as much as I did, thank you very much for sharing these hours with me. A hug and rock on ! ”

Then, and already entered the matter, I have taught you the basics of "cartoon" modeling. We have talked about deformations, irregularities, the importance of breaking symmetry, proportions and the non-existence of 90 degree angles. With this we have managed to give our assets a unique and characteristic touch. Then I have shown you my reference sources and how to prepare...”
