“ Cutting the Joints Before I finish with the sawing, I'll now saw my mitres. What's important here is that this mitre does not come through to the outside. I'll saw this at 45 degrees. I'll saw it to the back shoulder, over this back corner, and then the bottom of the shoulder. Now I'll saw this mitre. I have to be very careful here because as I reach the bottom of the cut, the wooden saw will drop onto the top of the tail and might catch a corner and knock a piece off.
