In this lesson, I'll tell you how I went from apprentice carpenter and joiner to full-time educator via guitar making. I apprenticed as a carpentry joiner. Before deciding that maybe I wanted to refine the kind of work I did, so I went and studied music technology and specialised in guitar making. From there, it was a short step to furniture making.
