“ Dovetails To make sure I choose the correct ends, I'll use the coloured dots to identify where these tails are going. These tails will be going on top of these pins. Now I need to find a way of stabilising this top board, so it doesn't move around on the bottom board. The first thing I'll do is use my plane to set the height... of the pin board. Pin board is going in the vice. Make sure that the face mark is facing towards you with the edge mark pointing to this side. Now that's flush with the side of the plane.
