“ Cutting the Joints In this lesson, I'll cut out the dovetails for the sides of the box and the groove that will hold the base in place. On the bench in front of me, I have all of the parts of the box. I have two sides, front and back. The two ends, left and right. The lid of the box and the base. In the resource pack, there is a set of drawings that will show you what the measurements are. You can stick with those measurements or you can choose your own. I also have a length of brass rod, which I will cut to size for the pivot of the lid. I'm using task lighting so that I can see the mark...”
