“ Grooves In this lesson, I'll show you how to cut the groove that will hold the base of the box in place. We have a 6 mm piece of MDF and we have a 6 mm groove marked onto the inside bottom of one of the sides. This is a bit of scrap to demonstrate it on. In the box itself, for the final project, we will have specific measurements for the distance of the groove from this bottom edge, but for now, it can be anywhere you like. Now, if you have a plough plane, this is the simplest and easiest way of cutting this groove. If not, I will link, in the Resources, to a way of cutting it with a saw ...”
