About the final project for: Vibrant Lettering: Find Your Style Through Pop Culture

Vibrant Lettering: Find Your Style Through Pop Culture

“We've reached the end! Thank you for taking the time to go on this creative journey with me. It has been incredibly fun to share my process with you, and I hope you can take some of these steps into your own creative process and career. It is now time to work on your project. This could mean finishing the design you started while completing the exercises or you could start a brand new project! Either way, I strongly suggest you take the time to gather inspiration and make a unique project of your own. You’ll find this more fulfilling and beneficial. Make sure to keep track of your progress with different pictures of each step. It'd be great if you could also explain the choices you've made along the way and tell me if you have any doubts. This will help me understand your creative process and guide you better if you need advice. Here are the main steps to follow to complete your project: Read the brief and identify key goals.

Find your words through brain dumping. Come up with as many ideas as possible then select three. Sketch with fearlessness and don’t be precious. This is an opportunity to ideate freely and problem solve from many angles.
Choose one of those sketches, then refine and embellish it. Take this time to craft your design and apply color for maximum effect.
Create a presentation in which you'll add at least one mock-up.
Your ideas are what you’re communicating to the world and this class is meant to help that, so share your work with the community! You can do so by clicking on "Create your project". I also encourage you to take a look at some of your classmates’ work. Seeing how others solve the same problem is helpful to your own process and a great learning tool. I'll be checking in as soon as possible to see what you've created, respond to your questions, and give you feedback. Thank you again for coming to class. I hope to hear from you soon!”
