About the final project for: Copywriting to Convey Your Personal Brand

Copywriting to Convey Your Personal Brand

“We have reached the end of our course. I hope I managed to pass on a little of my passion for ideas and copywriting. If it served to open your head to new paths that you had not contemplated before, it was already worth it. I hope you got here with more tools and a clear idea of what your personal brand should be. I will reinforce here some important themes that we saw during the course: • The creative process, starting with the basics, the distinction between concept, idea and insight. • The creative briefing and the importance of defining the problem very well before starting to solve it. • The differences between lateral thinking and horizontal thinking and the practical tools to unlock your creativity. • Having ideas is not a magical process reserved for some enlightened people, it is the result of work and effort, which means that we can all have them, if we only want to. • Definition of personal briefing, as if we were a brand or a product. • The choice of an insight and a tone to speak. • There is no right method to get ideas, there are several. Find what works for you. • The step-by-step technique of Post-it adhesives. From this exercise came some good ideas, both for the Elevator Pitch and for the slogan. • The concepts: Elevator Pitch and slogan.

And for this part I give you some more tips: When making a slogan for you, as brands do, it could be a good way to define your position and be clear about how you want to sell yourself. The Elevator Pitch, on the other hand, is the succinct and creative way of selling yourself to someone you care about: an employer, your boss, or anyone else. Make yourself a creative director and choose from the Post-it stickers the best ideas that translate into a slogan and an Elevator Pitch. Decide to materialize the idea of the Elevator Pitch in a video made by yourself that can be sent to the person you would like to hire, for example. As it is a video, you need a script and how it should be done. Shoot the video with your mobile phone and show us the final result. Create ways to publicize your personal brand on social networks (remember the mistakes to avoid). Model script
MOVIE 60 ” ELEVATOR PITCH We are in a room in a normal house, a person (me) is sitting at the table and talking to the camera. SFX: Elevator music. Text on: Hello Ricardo, my name is Andreia Ribeiro, I have been a copywriter for over 14 years and you are not in the least interested, I know. What if I told you that I already managed to make the whole country laugh with ... an announcement ... of less than a minute ... for a bank ... in the middle of one of the biggest financial crises of recent times? We do it like this: if you, taking into account ALL this, see the ad and laugh, even if it is just a smile, just one side of the mouth slightly lifting, like a flat herpes itch here in the corner of the lip, you see? if you can't resist, call me for an interview, okay? Come on, it's fair, I trust you, then I'll leave my contacts there to call me. Hug. Insert of the BES 2009 announcement Subtitles: Contacts
Now, finally, the best part has arrived: I want to see your final project. Share your creative process, your script, and your 60 "video. Remember: you have a personal brand, whether you like it or not, it is better to take the reins of the image that you pass on to others. Be yourself, define the briefing well, your positioning, and be creative in your approach. There are a thousand different ways to introduce yourself to the world, I am sure that you will find that perfect idea for you and that it couldn't be anyone else's. I am waiting for your video and I will be here to answer any questions you may have. I only ask you to be patient if it takes a while to answer, it is a sign that I am wrapped up in my clients' brands. Do not forget to share your final project with your fellow students, it is always good to hear feedback from several different people and when an idea is good, you will see it, you will not be able to take it, you will want to share it with the largest number of people possible. I am waiting to meet you, after all, it is to let you know that this course serves. ”
