About the final project for: Building a Creative Brand from Scratch

Creating a creative brand from scratch

“We have reached the end of the course. I hope you have enjoyed this experience very much and that you can take advantage of what you have learned to develop your final project and all your future projects. Before we say goodbye, we are going to review the key phases of the project. It would be great if you showed me a picture of each phase and added a brief explanation about what you have done in each one. Project definition The first step is to define your project. In the event that it is not a collection and you work on another type of project, remember the importance of being very clear about the topic you are going to work on. As we saw in Unit 2, it is essential to make a schedule to plan the different activities and key dates of the project. Respect this calendar very much so that everything works well both as a company and in the relationship with your clients.

Theme and design Next, choose the theme of your project taking into account your references and elements that have inspired you to develop it. When you have decided on the theme of the project, you will have to choose its color palette and its designs. Making a mood board can help you a lot in this phase.
Implementation of the project With the designs ready, send them to the workshop to make prototypes. Check the prototypes very well to find possible errors and be able to solve them. Here you can see the ones we made for our BALLET collection, with their designs and colors.
When you are absolutely sure that you have the final design in hand, send the prototypes to production. Communication and launch With your products already created, it is time for everyone to know them. Develop a marketing and communication plan for your project as we saw in Unit 4. Take product photographs (remember that we saw the difference between product photography and editorial photography), and create a newsletter and / or press release to announce your launch and have this information published in magazines. If you have a budget, you can also hire an agency to do this for you. It can also be very interesting to propose collaborations with other brands and projects to promote the development of yours!
Finally, the most awaited moment arrives, the launch of your collection. Review the advice I gave you in Unit 5 and remember that it is very important to meet the date you have set to present it to your community, do not forget the importance of meeting the date, as it will help you to plan without haste and stress.
Now share your final project with all of us by clicking on "Create your project". Remember to share both the final result of your collection and all the steps that have led you to it. I am looking forward to seeing your project and giving you feedback. Although I ask for your patience, I will try to access the forum as much as I can and what my professional projects allow me. Finally, I want to invite you to actively participate in the forum, not only sharing your progress, but also giving advice and trying to help the rest of the community. It is sure to be very enriching for everyone! See you on the forum!”

“Final project From now on we will summarize everything we have learned so far. Remember the importance of defining the project first. From there you should take into account how to define the theme of that project. Once you have resolved the theme of the project, you will have to choose a color palette and its designs. The next step will be to send the designs to the workshop and thus fill the prototypes. Once we have the prototypes and defined the final designs, we will send them to production. Always keep in mind that you must look at the prototype more than once because there you will fi...”
