About the final project for: Guided course: Create a Logo with Personalized Typography

Guided Course: Create a Logo with Custom Typography

Guided course: Typographic logo with character This is the time to transform your ideas into a design that speaks for itself. In this project, you'll develop a logo based on custom typography that captures the essence of a fictional brand. The goal is to explore references, sketch, and build a solid concept that combines style and functionality. You don't need to have everything figured out from the start: exploration is a key part of the process. During development, you'll work on creating a mood board, choosing catalog fonts, quickly sketching ideas, and precise vectorization in Adobe Illustrator. You'll also experiment with compositions and variations until you arrive at a well-designed final proposal. Here are five starting points for your logo: 1. Contemporary restaurant Modern and elegant logo with thin serifs or minimalist sans serif, ideal for a creative cuisine establishment. Example: “LUNA” in stylized serif with a small circular icon representing a plate seen from above. 2. Alternative music festival Custom typography with movement and textures that evoke energy and originality. Example: “Sonorama” in irregular letters with integrated sound waves. 3. Urban fashion brand Bold, condensed letters that convey visual power and adapt to multiple formats. Example: “URBANA” in condensed bold, with a reduced version with only initials. 4. Science fiction bookstore Combination of futuristic typography with graphic details alluding to space or literature. Example: “Nebula Books” in geometric shapes with a planet integrated into the “O”. 5. Artisanal coffee Hand-drawn letters with an organic touch to convey closeness and warmth. Example: “El Molino” in flowing script, framed in a circular stamp. The goal isn't just to have an attractive logo, but to create a piece that conveys a clear story and identity. Present your design in real-life contexts to evaluate its impact and share it to receive feedback that will help you take it even further.”
