We can kind of flick the brush and it softens this edge and we get lots of little lines that kind of look like grass blades. horizontal brushstrokes are really good for creating depth in our grass and we want to make sure that the lines that we leave in are closer together in the distance than they are in the foreground. As we move down the painting, or closer towards us on the grass, we can let these layers become much wider. Because this is where we'd be seeing more of the edge of the grasses. And we...”
