I tape my paper down because the process I use involves an initial wash where I wet the entire paper. The tape helps to prevent too much buckling. I use art tape. I purchased mine at Blick art supplies. You can find them anywhere online as well. I also like to tape my paper down because it creates a wonderful white border to help frame the artwork. I don't get too caught up in the exactness of the tape. I get a close estimate on all the sides being even....”
