“ Next Steps in Monoprinting In this lesson, we'll take monoprint a step further and I'll show you subtractive prints and masking. So far, we pressed on the paper's back with our hands or tools to make a print. Subtractive print is where you draw into the ink with different tools and then press the paper down. Maybe there's enough ink already on the plastic or the glass, but even if there is, it needs to be rolled back out again so that you don't get the previous prints on the paper. Even with rolling, I'm still getting those shapes coming through, so I'll add a bit more ink to the board. N...”
