“ Opening Your Toolkit In this lesson, I'll show you the materials needed for this course. We'll be doing three final projects that all use different monochrome techniques. To start, we'll create a series of monoprints using objects that you can find around the house. Then, we'll move on to drawing a portrait using stick charcoal. Finally, we'll create an image using powdered charcoal. I wanted to create a course that covered some of these processes because it can be a forgiving way of creating illustrations without worrying about colour, and colour theory.
