“Forming the Head Now we have our basic forms articulated, let's continue to work more detail into our features. I like to sculpt with some soft clay that I keep at hand that is a little bit more hydrated than the clay I get directly from the bag so I can sculpt onto this form without really disrupting it, without having to exert too much pressure that could affect the score. This is especially important in the earlier stages. As I continue to work on a piece this score will set and it'll stiffen up, so it'll be a bit more resistant to my pressure but in the earlier stages it's very useful t...”
