About the final project for: Digital Business: Design and Launch Your Idea from Scratch

Digital Business: Design and Launch Your Idea from Scratch

“We have reached the end of the course. I hope you have learned how to start a digital business like the most successful companies in Silicon Valley do. The final project is a presentation where you will include all the tasks required during the course and, in addition, the conclusions you have reached after testing the prototype with your potential clients. I have developed the business plan and prototype of an online florist, but you develop your own unique and special business idea. To make everything clear, divide the presentation into sections, this way I can evaluate and get to know your project well. The power of synthesis is very important. So the presentation should not contain more than 15 pages. I would like you to show me these phases of your final project: Competition Analysis The first thing we have to do is think of an initial idea of the digital business that we want to create, in my case an online flower shop. Afterwards, I have analyzed how the businesses of my direct and indirect competitors act and how they work.

"Person" or "persons" Next, and after a thorough investigation with interviews, I defined the characteristics of the "person", the average customer or user for whom I have been designing the product.
Business Model Canvas After the research process, I worked on my business idea. I thought about what my business can contribute and differentiate me from my competitors. Also other key aspects of the business such as resources, sources of income, activities to be carried out to deliver the value proposition to customers, etc.
"Customer Journey" In this phase of the project, I identified the key moments of the consumer experience to design the journey that my "person" will make in their experience with the product.
Your challenger brand and values Now is the time to work on the brand brief. It is key to choose a point of view for the brand that makes it stand out in the market. For this, I have chosen my challenger brand and I have defined the values that my company will have and promote.
Basic brand elements Using Figma, I have created the essential elements of the visual identity of my brand such as the logo, the color palette or the typography.
Wireframes Next, I worked on the user flows, which are the steps that the customer will follow in the product. I also created some basic wireframes that would help structure my business pages.
Prototype and conclusions Finally, I have created the final five screens that my prototype consists of and animated it. I have also prepared the methods that I will use to test users and gather information to evaluate the design of my business model.
Now is your time; share your final project with all of us by clicking on "Create your project". Remember to share all the images of your business presentation with a brief written explanation of what you have done (and why) in each one. Please note that I am working on different projects at the same time and it may take a while to get back to you. So please be patient if I can't reply right away. I encourage you to connect with your classmates through the course forum or through a direct message. I hope that the course has been inspiring and has given you energy to undertake that project that you had turning in your head. It's worth a try! ”

“Final project Hello and welcome to the end of this Domestika course. I hope all the information that I have shared with you has been useful and now you are ready to bring your digital business idea to life. As a final project, I developed the business idea of an online florist, but this has been an example. Of course you will have other ideas. And that is precisely what I would like to see in the Forum, your own business plan and your prototype. As a startup consultant, I have found myself with many entrepreneurs who believe they found a great product. However, many times this is still an i...”
