“The Materials In this lesson, we'll talk about the materials. To prepare the paper, we're using Winsor & Newton India Ink and a wide brush. We could also use a sponge, but I prefer using a brush. We will specialize in charcoal in this course. I'll use charcoals of different grades of hardness and different brands. In this case, I'm using Nitram charcoal. Nitram offers the advantage of having three grades of hardness: green, red, and blue, which I won't be using. The one we'll use the most is green. We'll also use regular charcoal of different thicknesses to be able to add different effe...”
