“My children's stories and the characters I designed I seem to operate on a schedule of I write and illustrate a book for myself, and then I take someone else's text. It's not like I'm in control. It depends on what comes along, what offers come up and what publishers approach you. I worked with Michael Rosen twice. This one's called "Chocolate Cake" This is a poem that Michael wrote, it was decades ago at this stage, and he would read it to schools up and down the country in the UK, for years and years. It got a really good reception, and they figured it was time to make it into a children'...”

Kevin Waldron is a NYC-based illustrator and author who is dedicated to creating original illustrations for storybooks, animations, and other visual media. He grew up and studied in Dublin before moving to London to complete a Master’s degree at Kingston University.
His first book, Mr. Peek & the Misunderstanding at the Zoo, won the first ever Opera Prima award at the Bologna Book Fair and was recently made into an animated TV series. He has worked with several editorials including Hansol, Saatchi & Saatchi, Templar Publishing, and Penguin Books. His latest work includes t-shirt designs, temporary tattoos, and several storybooks, including a cookbook for dogs and a book that helps detect eye problems in young children.
