“Completing the final scene In this lesson we're gonna begin painting our final illustration, our final piece of artwork, in watercolour on nice watercolour paper. But before we do that, there's more preparation to do using the light box this time. So, we have our final illustration sketch, I'm going to put that on the light box. What I do, just to show you, here's a little piece of paper. What I do before I move on to the actual final piece is work on top of the light box and get a really nice, clear black outline for my picture, so that I can see exactly what I'm doing and there's no room ...”

Kevin Waldron is a NYC-based illustrator and author who is dedicated to creating original illustrations for storybooks, animations, and other visual media. He grew up and studied in Dublin before moving to London to complete a Master’s degree at Kingston University.
His first book, Mr. Peek & the Misunderstanding at the Zoo, won the first ever Opera Prima award at the Bologna Book Fair and was recently made into an animated TV series. He has worked with several editorials including Hansol, Saatchi & Saatchi, Templar Publishing, and Penguin Books. His latest work includes t-shirt designs, temporary tattoos, and several storybooks, including a cookbook for dogs and a book that helps detect eye problems in young children.
