“Character interaction We've been drawing the character separately in our sketchbooks, and now we're gonna draw them together in some interesting, interacting poses. I did a little bit more visual research, just looking at pictures of cats and pigeons, and sometimes I just type in "bird and cats" and there's lots of pictures of doves or parrots or things like that and I can easily change the drawing to a pigeon. It's just an idea, I might use it, I might not, so there's no real pressure. It's time to start drawing. I like this one, the pigeon is kind of grooming the cat, it's kind of interes...”

Kevin Waldron

Kevin Waldron is a NYC-based illustrator and author who is dedicated to creating original illustrations for storybooks, animations, and other visual media. He grew up and studied in Dublin before moving to London to complete a Master’s degree at Kingston University.
His first book, Mr. Peek & the Misunderstanding at the Zoo, won the first ever Opera Prima award at the Bologna Book Fair and was recently made into an animated TV series. He has worked with several editorials including Hansol, Saatchi & Saatchi, Templar Publishing, and Penguin Books. His latest work includes t-shirt designs, temporary tattoos, and several storybooks, including a cookbook for dogs and a book that helps detect eye problems in young children.
