10 Tips to Market Yourself Better on Pinterest 1

Nowadays, having an online presence is essential, and a good SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategy is vital to make our content stand out in the tide of information and images that make up social networks. With a little love and care, a lot can be done to become more visible on Google, in this case, through your content on Pinterest.

You don't need to be a marketing expert. Here are some tips to get the algorithm on your side:

1. Have a complete profile. Optimize your profile photo, write your info, link your website, and make boards filled with pins.

2. Use an SEO-friendly username. That is, a profile name that could be easily associated with you, especially if you have a business, a brand, or a blog.

3. Work on the aesthetics of your profile to make it more attractive to users.

4. Be descriptive. The content you share needs to have quality. Use keywords to facilitate search and optimize your text. You can help yourself with tools like Google Trends or even Pinterest itself.

5. Use hashtags. But remember that Pinterest only shows four, so choose them carefully.

6. Add a watermark or signature. Place them at the end of the descriptive text of each pin or even on the same pin.

7. Be constant. Use the platform regularly.

8. Check the links. Make sure the links in your content are correct and work.

9. Install the Pinterest plugin on your website, so visitors can see the content you share on Pinterest.

10. Install the Pin-it button on your browser. So, when you find an interesting image, simply press the button, select the image and save it on the board you want.
