It has worked for her so that is a good metric to base its utility off the start! She has experience as a content creator and as the founder of the boutique social media marketing agency, Creatorly Media. She has amassed over 100,000 subscribers on YouTube. What are the basic principles your video should follow to go viral?

Having a clear concept and following certain steps might be a good strategy in the long run to grow as a creator but if you are looking for immediate success without any effort or accomplishment you should probably get in good terms with someone that is already famous… and “collaborate" with them. You should probably also seek out a therapist as well…!

This term that is thrown around so often, “collab”, can mean a huge range of things, like: dancing a popular choreography almost in sync, reacting to someone else’s cats doing mundane stuff or shooting pranks on each other… together…! The means to achieve success are up to you, though!

If this approach sounds too heartless and cynical, you can also try to find a better suited artist to work with. They don’t need to be The Kardashians, you just want to show your work to a larger audience by “collaborating” with a slightly bigger artist that you might also like. But it needs to be reciprocal, so you should probably work on yourself before searching for validation from others (basic self-help advice). If this sounds too boring, you might be more suited for the pranks…

Let’s dive into the “content”:

Think of creating work that is uniquely yours. Although it isn’t really necessary to go viral, it might be better for your wellbeing after all.

Of course attractive thumbnails are a must. This will increase the number of views and engagement. Also a nice tip that our friend Katie gives us is to write a different text from the title on the thumbnail; this will help to generate curiosity on the potential viewers.

This might be obvious, but shorter videos generally get more views so being concise with your message is another must. And of course you should set a concrete message to tell to guide the audience and ideally make them obsessed with you and your rhetoric so they have no other choice but to watch the same clip in a never ending loop. Kind of like a digital purgatory... But don't worry! If it wasn't you they are obsessing over, it would be somebody else...!
