Introduction to Japanese Sashiko Stitching

This course gives very good history of sashiko and the instructor is very knowledgeable. The coursework is very easy to understand and follow. I find this course very helpful to answer questions that beginners usually ask , like do we use knot, how to make patterns, where to start stitching, what type of thread to use? I learn a lot from this course while enjoying the whole process. Highly recommend for beginners!

Vast and indepth sharing about Sashiko. It was much more than I expected as the history and rhythm were the main issues taught. Most sashiko teachers teach the stitches and preparation of fabric. But Atsushi San went a step further and shared about historical aspect of Sashiko in Japan. His lessons are also entertaining and at times witty. Very engaging and interesting.

I found the course to e very informative and certainly very authentic .... would highly recommend .
