This was an immensely enjoyable course. It was humbling to learn of the culture and stories behind the word 'sashiko'. The techniques were very accessible and once the concept of the rythmn of stiches was explained, it was easy to relax into the stitching. What a privilege to have such a teacher.

Um curso leve, fluído, com conteúdo cultural. Uma ótima técnica que pode ser adaptada para outros materiais, como um bordado no papel, madeira.

the course is quite nice for the introduction, but wtf one of the videos does not have English VO even though it is filmed in English

Very well explained and very detailed cultural background and personal stories. Gives a lot to think about in terms of how we approach cultural practices as well as our relationship to our own clothes and manufacturing.
Overall highly recommend though I found the practical explanations to be slightly lackluster.
