Truly wonderful. Presented in a simple and engaging style. Guidance given on how to continue improving after the course. Lots of info on what sashiko is and isn't. Personally, I appreciated the reminder to stay cognizant of the roots of sashiko whilst developing one's own skill and creativity.

This is an absolute wonderful course to get a deeper understanding of sashiko. For me it has evolved from being a beautiful embroidery and sometimes mending technique to become a way of seeing life in the whole. It was such a joy to understand the main purpuse, to strenghen a fabric and then mending if needed. It has given me a much longed for perspective in my sewing for the future. Very good explanation of the techniques.

Wonderful introduction to sashiko stitching. I appreciate how the instructor gives proper cultural context before diving into the techniques.

Atsushi Futatsuya is an inspiring instructor. I hope the course will be continued. Sashiko is not just a craft, but also a culture, art, and history of a society. Thanks a million.

I am really sorry this course ends now, because I was always looking forward to seeing another lesson. Not only I learned the stiches, the rhytm, and other special advices regarding sashiko, but I also listened to very precious inner thinking and philosophy of a teacher. I watched these lessons with a smile on my face. Thank you very much, it was special for me. :)

I loved this course because it taught the philosophy behind the stitching as well as how to stitch. I will be using this on my jeans. A well organised course and really clear.
