“ Influences In this lesson, I'll share with you some of my influences. My biggest inspiration on the way to puppet-making was definitely the Czech artist, Jiří Trnka. His paintings and puppet fairy tales accompanied the childhood of almost everyone in Bohemia. I love to flip through the books with his drawings and paintings. They still bring me joy because of their warmness and child-like beauty. The same can be said about the puppets he designed and made. If I had to describe his work in one word, it would probably be poetry. Another big inspiration for me were definitely Czech fairy tale...”
