“Now that we have the whole puppet carved and painted, we still have to bring it to life. Let's assemble it. The first thing we need is to buy or make a suitable controller and string the puppet. If you want to make the controller yourself, you can find the pattern of my controller in the additional resources. For the simple puppets I used the traditional vertical system common for Czech and Italian marionettes. You can find tutorials for its use online.
