Often, what I like to do is have two sketchbooks available, one for ideas and thoughts that I can quickly jot down, and one that's for presentation purposes or Instagram-worthy posts. One thing that's helpful if I don't have my sketchbooks on me is using apps on my phone to record ideas and thoughts. I use two apps for recording thoughts. The first one is called Things.
