“How to Draw Letters Now, let's talk about two ways to sketch your drawing. The first is called skeletal. With skeletal drawing, you draw the skeleton of the letterform. I'll draw the word "cool." You can draw it loosely. We're thinking through our placement of the letter and how much space we have on each side. Now, I have the skeleton of the letterforms. I'll scoot this all over a bit.
