“In this lesson, I'll share with you some of the influences that have inspired my work. First up is Doyled Young. Doyle was an American logotype and type designer. And I came across his work after I had taught myself calligraphy and had started getting into hand lettering. In the documentary that I saw about Doyle's life, He poured over his work in a way that I had never seen before. When he drew letter forms, he took his time. He was very deliberate in everything that he did. And I understood that I didn't have to rush through my process. So these are some of the pieces that he created when...”
