“Lettering Exercises I know I've said this already but your sketches can and probably will look very messy. That's OK. I want you to get comfortable with exploring ideas and working through them and not so worried about putting down the exact line that you need to when you are sketching. This side of my lettering feels good. I noticed back here on the M, I didn't add a lot of weight to the thinner strokes, like I did here with the A and the G. I'll go back in and add a bit more weight before we finish this off. That feels good now. We'll go and take this eraser and clean up a bit of our line...”
