“Adding Color In this lesson, I'll show you my process for coloring a lettering piece. First, grab whatever marker you want to work with. I'll use a Uni Posca marker. When you first get these, you'll notice that the tip of the marker is white. It's because the ink is here in the cartridge and it needs to load up into the tip of the marker. What you do is close it and shake it really well for quite a long time. Then, take a scrap piece of paper, press down on the paper, and wait until the ink goes from the barrel of the pen down into the tip. This can take a long time or not a long time. Just...”
