“FIRST SKETCHES Now I'm going to tell you how I make my first sketches, how I put my first ideas on paper. For starters, I don't work with sketch pads, I work with cut sheets. The sketchpad or notebooks in general have that pressure that they have to be divine and each sheet must be a work of art. When she's not drawing letters, she travels to present her work at conferences and universities. She is the author of the book The Golden Secrets of Lettering, originally published in German and later translated into English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Japanese.
