About the final project for: Storytelling and Communication to Sell Creative Projects

Storytelling and Communication to Sell Creative Projects

“You are here already? Well done! Thank you very much for participating in this course and, above all, for daring to make the most of your creative talent. Remember that even the most successful creators got it after multiple rejections. Not everything depends on you and, although it may seem frustrating, it really is a gift. So don't put more pressure on yourself than you should and enjoy the process, leaving insecurities behind and gaining confidence for the next time. You will learn much faster with your own final project, with your own case. The final project is writing a pitch. Prepare it by following everything we have learned to convince your audience and anticipate the setbacks that may arise. Remember that I have shared with you in Unit 5 a template in which you can collect all the data of your project for the presentation. Next, we are going to review the key phases of the project with the example of Lina that we have seen in the course. It would be great if you explained the phases of your project here and accompanied them with an image. And, if you can, also attach the file with your template filled in with all the data and decisions made in your project. Your creative project Choose your creative project. Then, find your style and the place of your project in its market. Take advantage of the tools we have seen in Unit 2 to obtain and structure information.

The pitch With the project already defined, the next step is to specify your sorytelling and prepare and write the pitch. Remember to create your argument of possible objections, put the techniques into practice in at least two meeting styles and define what to do if something goes wrong and how to continue if everything goes well. In Unit 3 we review the key concepts to be able to do it with guarantees. Remember the structure I proposed to you: Who are you? - Your whys - Your proposal - Call to action - What you need. We also saw that, in the event of an unforeseen event, it is always great to have a "panic button" ready, a one pager to count the keys of the project in a minute. Here is Lina's example.
The presentation Finally, the moment of truth arrives, the meeting. If you dare, it would be great if you recorded your presentation on video. You can add it when sharing your final project if you upload it to a platform like YouTube and include the link. When presenting, remember all the details and tips that we saw in Unit 4, I'm sure you'll do great!
Now share your final project with all of us by clicking on "Create your project". Remember to share both the final result of your presentation and the entire process that led you to it. I also encourage you to share impressions with your colleagues, come to the forum to give your opinion and make yourself visible in our community. So much talent together has to be useful for something and at least I'm looking forward to learning about your project. I hope you find this course useful and the next time someone tells you "present it to me", smile and think "I'm not only going to present it: I'm going to sell it". See you on the forum! ”

“Final project We have already reached the end of this Domestika course. I hope you enjoyed the contents as much as I did making them. and that from now on it is a pleasure for you to present to a client. But before we say goodbye Let's do a little review of everything we saw. First you have learned to know yourself, your market and the strengths and weaknesses of your project. Then we saw how to use storytelling for your presentations and how to order your pitch. Then you have known tools to train your confidence and we have seen different meeting styles together.
