She painted murals at school and went on to study graphic design at university, minoring in fine art. Cynthia then worked in the tech industry and product design for 15 years for clients including Yellow Pages Canada, OneOcean Group, and Shopify.
After baking a cake in celebration of the birth of her first child, and sharing it on Instagram, her career in cake decoration began. Since then, Cynthia has become known for her free-flowing petals and the muted, neutral designs which she creates and shares with over 100K followers on Instagram.
