“In this course, we're going to design and artwork a printed invitation for an event, although the skills you are about to learn can be applied to all sorts of projects. Invitation design is a really great place to start off if you’re learning or practicing your graphics skills. It’s like a tiny microcosm of all the elements you might use in a larger project. You’re going to be using typography and colour and paper choices and graphic elements to design something that will grab people’s attention straight away. You won’t have much space so everything needs to work really hard but you can have loads of fun with it.”
